What Matters — Monday, September 25, 2017 — 50 Minutes

First up on today’s show we talk with Brooke Medina about the new educational opportunity for active duty military families in the state. Now military families will have access to the state’s fledgling school choice program, making a state that calls itself the “most military friendly state” just that much  more inviting. Next up we talk with Dr. Bob Luebke about the recently released school grades, and how the system is misleading to make schools look better than they are truly doing, think the school are on a 7 point grade scale, or even a 10 point scale? Think again. Finally we finish up with a segment from ESP Associates manager David Key about his company’s emergency flooding software, an extremely relevant segment after the recent hurricane activity in the Southeast.

What Matters — Monday, September 18, 2017 — 50 Minutes

On today’s show we start of by tuning in to Susan Myrick’s conversation with Ed Naile, who works to combat voter fraud in New Hampshire. Then Matt talks to Demi Dowdy about what faith groups are doing to aid in the recovery effort after hurricanes have ravaged the South in recent weeks. Finally we tune in to another segment with Susan to talk about how unaffiliated voters have now overtaken Republicans in the state, though it’s the Democrats who are losing voters.
