What Matters for Friday, July 24, 2015

Happy Friday everyone! It’s another dynamic show covering a wide range of topics. Chad started off talking about a letter to the editor written by the Governor that appeared in “The Charlotte Observer,” not something you see Governors do, and perhaps not a good idea. Then Civitas Center for Law and Freedom Attorney Elliot Engstrom was in studio to give an update on H.B. 13 concerning specifically the Kindergarten Health Assessment Form and potential ramifications. Elliot explains that depending on how the final bill reads, the amendments to the bill support or undermine the causes of privacy and parental rights.

In hour two, News14’s Tim Boyum is in studio to discuss the big news stories of the week. He and Chad have a blast chatting about topics ranging from elections to the latest on Sons of Confederate Veterans license tags.

That’s all for this week. We’ve got a great show planned for Monday that you won’t want to miss. Have a great weekend everybody!
